PRODUCT DROP - STATES WINTER PACK & COURT STAR CLEAN PACK

24.10.2014 | PUMA

With Halloween around the corner, we can’t help but think about the scary perm action and other fashion horrors from the 80s. Yes it was a tumultuous time for fashion the in 80s, with style cues being taken from He-Man and Paula Abdul, it’s a wonder the we could have a shining beacon of fashionable hope in the form of the PUMA Court Star.

The PUMA Court Star, one of the most iconic Tennis sneaker styles in the 80s, helped cement PUMA as the trailblazers of sports tennis footwear. Now we’ve learnt from Robocop that just because something outta the 80s was good, it doesn’t mean you need to reboot it, however we’re pretty confident that the chance we’ve been given to perfect these kicks will be all the proof you need that some things are worth bringing back. This sneaker has a chunkier performance inspired silhouette, allowing you to look fresh at Wimbledon or fancy in the street.

Also hailing from the 80s, the one of a kind States Winter “Gum” pack.
This shoe went hand in hand with the 80s hip-hop scene. The States are sometimes referred to as the “Suede, Clyde or PUMA O,” you can call them whatever you want, we call them dope. These shoes come with custom laces, thin or thick  - you’re covered.

Both shoes have just dropped; get them at Select stores in Bree Street, Cape Town and Braamfontein, Johannesburg for R1400 for the Court Stars and R1600 for the States.
