PUMA X SIBLING
12.12.2014 | PUMA
This is what happens when a British knitwear specialist teams up with a brand like PUMA…total chaos in the fashion industry.
SIBLING launched in 2008 born out of a desire to give knitwear for men a good old-fashioned shake-up with cartoon ka-pows of colour and bams of very English humour. Their mission statement: let’s put the fun into classics. A collaboration between Joe Bates, Sid Bryan and Cozette McCreery, SIBLING is all for one and one for all. The three designers bring with them a strong heritage of experience with top-name brands.
Now PUMA partners up with SIBLING to create a statement on archive Tennis silhouettes. The PUMA Challenge and Advantage is interpreted through a premium fashion lens and the result is something completely unexpected.
The established knitwear mavericks continue to reinvent and subvert traditions through this collaboration. The Challenge and Advantage feature a hand Knit Stitch graphic from their archive. They are available in two colourways, Berry and Royal. Combined with the contrasting mix of colour and material choice, SIBLING’s stamp on PUMA classics is clear to see.
These very limited editions are in the PUMA Select stores in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Retail prices: Challenge x SIBLING W R1 900 and G. Villas x SIBLING G R1 800.
