For those that grew up with up on comics, action figures and tv games our partnership with SEGA brings the best of both worlds together with the pairing of SEGA's iconic Sonic the Hedgehog with the playful RS-0 sneaker. We kicked it with rapper and gamekop, Jack Parow, and let him review the PUMA x SEGA RS-0 pack…
“When I was a lightie the 8 Bit Home Entertainment System dropped and with it a whole new world. Games took over my life and a little later the 16 Bit Sega Mega Drive dropped. 8 Bit was cool, but 16 Bit took gaming to a new level. With it came a blêrrie array of amazingness including Sonic the hedgehog, a blue hedgehog that ran at blistering speeds, around loops, through rings and over minions.
Now, another one of my most favourite companies, PUMA, have created a shoe in that same classic blue, built for blistering speed and can be used to kick some evil minions right onder hulle gatte. The PUMA x SEGA RS-0 Sonic, combines gevaarlike tech with even gevaarliker looks, will wake up the kid in you, bring that nostalgia and also make that girl that never looks your way sommer look your way twice.”
What’s a hero without a villain? What is Sonic without Dr. Eggman? As most super villians, Dr. Eggman is super fancy with  impeccable taste and this reflected in his shoe. The sneaker’s  all-over red upper and footbed. The upper is decked in a pebbled patent leather with micro ventilation perforations, a debossed PUMA Formstrip and a debossed Dr. Eggman head that shoots fireballs from his Eggmobile. His conniving face and fireballs are debossed on the medial heel, while gold rings have been inserted on the laces. The footbed features black and yellow caution stripes – a nod to the graphics on Eggman’s Eggmobile.
Both sneakers are packaged in a special box that is inspired by the iconic Green Hill Zone.

In the words of Jack Parow “Maak 'n move masekind” PUMA x SEGA RS-0 Sonic and Dr. Eggman sneakers will be available from 7 July 2018 at PUMA SELECT stores and Shelflife for R2 999 each.
