Thursday 3 December - Select Sessions with Themba
South African native Themba burst onto the global dance scene in 2018 with a string of high profile gigs and music releases. This summer Themba is based in Ibiza as resident DJ at Black Coffee's party at Hi, with shows at Ushuaia, Amnesia, Blue Marlin & Heart, while also touring in over 20 other countries.
Themba's sound is forged from his African roots, incorporating local singers, songwriters and percussionists to create his own unique take on electronic music. His music has been heavily supported by Black Coffee, Adam Beyer, Pete Tong, Hot Since 82, Damian Lazarus, Masters At Work and many more of the world's most influential tastemakers.
Friday 4 December - Select Stories with Kenzhero
DJ Kenzhero is a veteran DJ in South Africa. He started deejaying in 1998 and has never stopped ever since. He is also involved in other activities such as music production, radio hosting, running restaurants, and clubs, among other ventures. [Source]
Thursday 10 December - Select Sessions with Karyendasoul
Bonga Ntozini better known as Karyendasoul, is a multi talented young DJ & Producer from Nqamakwe a small town in the Eastern Cape Province In South Africa. Through his passion, hard work & dedication, He has kept his consistency through the young years. Around 2017 to 2018 his whole career made a huge turnaround as he secured a Superbalist feature, released the infamous “Waka EP” with Gondwana Music , Possibilities EP , El “Weight Of The Sun” single Remix (SONY Music Africa) and a collaboration effort with the international acclaimed DJ/Producer “Black Coffee” & Zhao (from Los Angeles - a rising super star in the making), making him one of the youngest Artists to ever work with Black Coffee in the country at age 21.
Thursday 17 December - Select Sessions with Dwson
Cape Town-based producer Dwson (pronounced Daw-son) enters 2020 with just the right credentials to significantly step up the career he has been steadily building over the past five years.
The producer combines his musical talents with a work ethic that’s got a great deal to do with being raised on the Cape Flats. “I think it has a lot to do with the way I’ve been brought up,” he told an interviewer in 2018. “I wasn’t spoon fed nor was I well-off, and that has really been the reason why I am and will always keep a level head.”
